Ensuring timely access to care for our patients and communities is a top priority at Mills-Peninsula Medical Group. Several factors contribute to our current timely access challenges. They include healthcare staffing shortages, and a complex web of requirements and approvals before care can be delivered. While there is no simple solution to fix all these challenges, we are partnering care teams to overcome these challenges. For example, many offices use dynamic waiting lists where patients can greatly accelerate their wait time by being flexible to move into another time slot if another patient has to cancel their appointment.

A licensed insurance agent is a great resource that patients can use when selecting the appropriate insurance coverage. Licensed insurance agents can guide you through Medicare coverage options and discuss comprehensive and cost-effective benefits available.
The licensed insurance agents listed below are local agents who understand the needs of our community and are familiar with our Mills-Peninsula Network (PAMF/MPD & MPMG).
In addition to the brokers below, another option for patients is the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP). HICAP provides free and objective information and counseling about Medicare. Volunteer counselors can help patients understand their specific rights and health care option.
