Personal Care Agencies

These are agencies which do NOT require a doctor’s order. They provide hourly companions and attendants, live-ins for personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping and transportation.

Personal Care Agencies – Private Placement

Private Placement means the client employs and supervises the attendant and manages payroll withholding taxes, Worker’s compensation, etc.  The agency charges you a “finder’s fee” (usually a percentage of the attendant’s first month’s wages). Not typically covered by your health plan.  * Indicates that agency provides both private and agency supervised care.
